Overview

A Uniform Schengen Visa (Type C) allows UAE residents to travel freely across all 29 member countries of the Schengen Area for tourism, family visits, or business meetings. You must apply to the consulate of the country that is your primary destination or main entry point.

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

• Valid UAE Residency & Passport: Passport valid for 3 months beyond intended departure with 2 blank pages. UAE residence visa valid for at least 3 months.
• 3 to 6 Months Stamped Bank Statements: Demonstrating sufficient balance (minimum €50 - €100 per day of stay depending on country).
• Official Employer NOC: Salary certificate stating designation, joining date, monthly salary, and approved leave period.
• Travel Medical Insurance: Policy with minimum €30,000 coverage including emergency medical evacuation valid across all Schengen states.
• Confirmed Roundtrip Flights & Hotel Bookings: Verifiable travel reservations covering your entire stay in Europe.

Where to Apply (Main Destination Rule)

Under Schengen Visa Code Article 5, you must submit your application to:

• The country where you will spend the longest duration of nights.
• If spending equal nights in multiple countries, apply to your first point of entry into the Schengen zone.
